I don't really go looking for anything other than writers i really enjoy (like your good self), I sort of meander around and read what comes my way and the work of people who take time to comment. It's not a great system because what I'm recommended isn't generally in line with what I think - and because I've engaged with that article, the algorithm thinks I want more of it. I'm creating my own anti-echo-chamber or Iron Maiden of gobshite.
