I don't think a lot of progressives really consider what this means in practice. In the current political milieu it's very easy to spin an 'oppressed vs oppressor' narrative, but in that instant you'd definitely want to swap places with the oppressor? In many cases that's not really what they mean - and if they don't mean that, why don't they mean that?
