I don't think any writers on Medium are bottom writers - the platform isn't a hierarchy it's a marketplace, and I've got more than my fair share of sub 100 clapped articles. What I do know is that Medium gets 10,000 stories a day, and getting eyes on the stories and building a following is key. Medium is a marketplace and you have an idea that nobody is buying - and that means there's likely something wrong with how you're selling them. Have a look at the titles and pictures first and foremost.

Also, it pays to write small in the early days. Bite sized ideas with titles that pop and footers which lead onto the next article. Reel people in. I'm far less controversial in discussion than my titles suggest and there's a reason for that. Provoke a response. Get people clicking cos they're emotive, then keep them with good writing.

Your title 'The CEO' could easily become 'Are CEOs really worth more than you?" or 'Should wages be linked to performance rather than job titles?" - and you'll get more clicks because the first provokes an emotive response, the second sets a question the article answers. In the long run you can get people to read about the TDG, but it's a big ask to get someone to accept you have an alternate democracy model straight out of the gate.

Hopefully David will pull himself together, sometimes it takes a bit of time. He's still in the latter stages of adolescence and his brain is likely fizzing. Although it isn't popular to suggest at the moment, I would recommend Jordan Peterson's 12 rules for life - I'd suggest it's good reading/listening for struggling young men.

Medication might be the last resort. :o)
