I don't think 'we should consider this more deeply before we make any complicated decisions' is the Transphobic demon it's made out to be. Keira Bell's case, upheld and then overturned is how we make laws in the UK - but a timely reminder that we shouldn't hurry things along. We can and must get it right for people on an individual basis - and that means giving professionals the time and space to help in whatever way is appropriate free from outside pressure.
