I don’t understand how ‘not being on duty’ is a technicality. You’re allowed to drink when you’re not on duty because you’re not at work, just being a civilian…. I’m not sure how this is preferential treatment and not just a fair way of handling the case. I would imagine everyone is allowed to drink when they aren’t at work.
