I don’t understand the point that you’re making. There are plenty of people of colour who are very fond of the royal family. There are plenty of people that love being in the Commonwealth and who wouldn’t think twice about bowing for the queen. That doesn’t make the argument about the nature of equality less valid.

As the gentleman in the comment above you said rather eloquently: I profoundly agree with the views expressed and I seriously cringe when I see people of colour waving and fawning enthusiastically at the sight of the royals.

That’s pretty much how I feel. But I’m white, so it’s probably patronising
