I have generally found it a good idea to treat people as I find them. I don't really want to inspect the contents of their underwear or infer anything about their levels of melanin. Being an asshat isn't limited to the political right or left, to one race or one gender.... being an asshat is something which can present in everyone. That's why I'm an equal opportunist bird - I'll tell anyone and everyone why I think they're wrong - no inherited or protected characteristic can be used as a defence - as, for the most part, it isn't relevant.
