I have often argued against the presumption of guilt at the point of accusation. I can see very much the difference between what the public are interested in and what is in the public interest. I'm not convinced this story needed to be written and should either be a matter for the police to investigate or not reported at all. We do society a huge disservice by letting the general public get involved.
