I have read it (albeit quickly)- and from what I remember there are lots of people giving Trump mountains of evidence that he's lost, that doesn't mean he believes them or he factors this into his thinking very much. He's also got (at least) 6 other people telling him his beliefs are perfectly valid and that his actions are perfectly reasonable. Those conversations aren't recorded in the indictment but will likely form part of the defence. I'll call it the 'Rudy said it was fine' defence.

I hope there's more evidence in the bag as I'd be 50/50 on this given Trump's record on things breezing past him. Trump does well under pressure and he's convincing under a spotlight in the way arrogant people often are. I hope there are a few more things in the bag and a few key witnesses who will throw him under the hubris bus.

Season 8 is hotting up to be a good one. :o)
