I have read this and I conclude that you're right. I'd contest the bit about connections to include Catherine O'Hara and Chris Elliott too - but my heart wouldn't be in it. This article is poorly argued and plays into existing biases I have about the TV and theatre industry - in which who you know is often of greater import than what you've done. I think that's far more prevalent over here than in the US but I have nothing othe than my own biases to support such an accusation.

Either way, I'm happy to be called out - becuase if I wasnt, I wouldn't write the sort of things I write. I'll chalk this article up to a moody day in the arctic circle and do better next time. :o)
