I have that too - and I'm a Penguin with zero social media accounts. I do have an Instagram (reopened during lockdown so I could see other human faces) but now the world has reopened I don't use it. I came off all other social media in 2018 and it was the best decision I ever made - I've written more, I became a Penguin on Medium and built a small following. I don't get involved in people's dramas, I don't get bogged down in pointless social minutiae. On Medium there's only one way to get hold of me which I don't highlight or encourage anyone to do. Other people, for the most part, are an absolute pain in the ass.

I occasionally get stressful pushback on here - mostly from people who assume I'm whatever enemy they have generated in their heads... but meh, the discussions are worthwhile, fun and almost always respectful. Keep all your messages closed and enjoy solitude and being alone with your own thoughts. It's good for the soul.

And yes, I appreciate the irony of writing that in your comments section :o)
