I have to say, I have been somewhat confused by the Staff Picks lately. There's nothing inherently wrong with this article, but there's a whole absence of heft and depth. It's fluffy and candyflossy. I think Medium needs to make some structural changes to how it does these picks and is more transparent about how this happens.
