I”m with Mark Kelly on this one — this is the sort of writing I came to Medium to read. Medium has historically been rammed with left of centre diatribes that highlight Trump’s lack of truth-telling without much analysis of why this seems to work and why it is likely to get him re-elected.

I’m not a Trump fan at all. He’s a narcissistic individual who developed his bullshit strategy through years of entitlement and brash arrogance rather than intelligence. For him — it works. There are, however, more shadowy and sinister figures sitting n the shadows taking copious notes. They’ve seen what works and they have far more intelligence and direction than Trump. Over in the UK (where I live) we have Dominic Cummings

Trump’s the old blonde canary who didn’t die yet. European politics is about to change considerably — and arguably not for the better.
