I meant the specific new pronouns being suggested at the moment. The neo-pronouns as you’ve called them. I don’t think they’ll survive because I don’t think a critical mass of people will adopt them, and they’re diversifying too much.

As for ‘they’ as a single pronoun, I’m more bullish on this. I think there’s a good chance it will be adopted, but I think we’re talking 20 years plus, and for a lot of older people who are too linguistically stuck in their ways to pass from the mortal coil.

Not everything is an attack, and my knowledge of English grammar is fine thanks.
