I read you both on a regular basis, and disagree with you both on a regular basis - but this is an interesting sociological observation and well worth exploring. I would argue, based on my own experience of you both, that you have a more combatatitive tone - and are more vociferous when you disagree. There's no judgment attached to that, no tone is bettter or more right than the other and I enjoy the work both of you put out.

I can't speak for male humans (being a penguin) but I have never factored in an individual's sex life into any part of what they have to say. It isn't relevant, like you - I am happily polyamorous and it bears little relation to anything I write on here. I find sex articles generally boring - so rarely open them, with the occasional poly-article by Sarah Stroh being the exception.

I would argue that you and Yael are experiecing the Medium world differently because you're two different women. You share some ideas about how the world might be - but that isn't the entire sum of who you are or what you stand for. The differences between you are probably playing into existing biases that people hold - but I think that's true of everyone on here. You will blame the patriarchy and I will blame individual psychological fallacies and we'll go round in circles as per usual.

As long as you both keep writing the same awesome content, I don't mind.
