I read your work for much the same reason - we're not required to agree on the route to the endpoint, only the endpoint itself. Our individual experiences give us the perspectives we hold, but they are simply that, perspectives. Tim Wise is an excellent writer and has a compassionate philosophy which I believe is well intentioned but fundamentally flawed in the fullness of time. I think the way to resolving racism is not to focus on race and I'm always pleased when I find people of any colour who agree with me, but I'm equally delighted to be challenged and held accountable for my views. That's how progress is made.

You can see Tim and I going at it hammer and tongs (metaphorically) in the comments section of my latest article. I imagine you'll have great insights about that, as our discussion focuses on education and employment opportunities.

Always a pleasure to see your name pop up in my comments section. I look forward to carrying on our unique blend of civil disagreement and equally civil agreement. :o)
