I really hope we get either Rishi or Truss. Sunak because there's a dossier of chaos sitting on Boris Johnson's desk about things he's done over the last 3 years and they'll be ready to weaponise that - Boris doesn't give a shit about the Conservative Party and he'll go for the throat with Sunak the Betrayer.

Truss gets up and talks excitedly about Cheese. She's a female Michael Gove and malfunctions under pressure and if the Tories go into the next election with her, then they'll be absolutely slammed.

Those are my two choices because they'll both end in acrimony and Tory dissolution. I'm really hoping Penny Morduant doesn't get it - she seems relatively competent and reasonably talented.

That'd be awful.
