I really wish that people like you were pushed to the top of the writing pile instead of the insane divisive drivel I keep seeing in GEN. What an amazing way with words you have. When you engender critical thinking, love and compassion into a child - they remember and they carry that with them into the rest of their lives. That's how racism will ultimately be defeated - because of teachers like you.

And for the record it doesn't matter what group you come from, you could've been black, asian, white, blue, male, female, trans or even a particularly competent horse... what you're saying has validity, power and truth because of your individuality. Your students won't care, and neither should the wider society.
