I reckon there's probably a big bucket of ancestral trauma to go round. Life was very hard for a lot of people of all skin colours. There have always been elite pople and those people have been protected from the ravages of nature, famine and war, for the last 400 years most of those people have been white and wealthy - but everyone else has been well and truly shat on from a great height.
