I second what Dave said... you're too good a writer to not have an audience build up around you. Keep writing whatever you want, there's no harm in being a generalist - I've been doing that for years. You won't race up the Medium ranks at the same speed as the sex and self-help writers, but you'll have great fun getting there. And remember to steel yourself, the idiots will arrive in the fullness of time with their nasty comments. Nil desperandum carborundum and all that. Keep up the excellent work :o)
