I see the conclusion that you've reached and respectfully disagree. If a congresswoman of 30 years cannot forsee the implications of making statements about legal processes outside of her expertise when asked, she is at best misguided and at worst a total liability.

Your argument suggests that 'good faith' is how such things are played. This isn't true and hasn't been true for some years. Maxine Waters has gifted the right-wing an open goal in which to shoot and they duly have. I suspect that Pelosi has had some choice words with her. One of those words is likely 'idiot'.
