I started writing here in 2018 and I though the Medium publications were a step in the wrong direction. They curated a particular political position and created a stifling echo chamber which killed off the indie-writer. I couldn't have been more pleased when Ev closed them down and binned off the journalists, it was like getting the room back to a normal temperature.

That's the nature of Medium though.... the changes that have happened are seen through different lenses by those of us who have different views on where the platform should go. :o)
