I suspect he has more information and more detail, but I don't think that would necessarily change my mind on the large picture tactics. I would suggest his personality and politics are much more right-wing and aggressive than mine and that I would be more inclined to wait before acting - that said, I'm not under the sort of civil pressure he's under. I think things would be different and perhaps decisions would've been slower (and perhaps better) if Lapid or Olmert was at the helm.
I cannot definitively argue within the subjunctive for what decisions I would and wouldn't have made - but i can say I am very likely to have made different decisions. I am particularly likely to have followed Biden's advice, stayed out of Gaza and used Mossad more covertly whilst negotiating for hostages.
Would you have done what Netanyahu has done? Do you think the problems he has engendered for Israel and for Jews around the world were entirely unforeseeable?
