I suspect you are right too. Trumpism and the chaos it wrought wasn't really ever very dangerous. It was inept, it was bumbling, it was a trial run. Trump's personality and brand of management wasn't up to scratch - but it didn't need to be... it's given a very clear blueprint of what can be achieved and more importantly how.

There are smarter men and women out there with ambition and a textbook marked 2016-2020. Everything that was wrong about Trumpism came down to Trump the person. Everything that was right about it is fairly easily replicated by anyone with a shred of political nous and intellect in place of narcissism.
