I think careful watching of the tapes and looking at the question the jury was asked to decide (and not the antecedents) will show that you’re off the mark here.

The left needs to be very careful it doesn’t jump to its own conclusions (as one of the commenters here has done) - instead it must look at the evidence, consider the laws that apply to it - and then make the case the law should be changed. Hyperbolic rhetoric like ‘open season on left wing protestors’ - doesn’t paint the left in a sane light. And I say that as someone on the political left.
