I think if you share many similar views to me, then you can absolutely call yourself a liberal. The name has been hijacked and moved over to the hard left, when you have people mandating what is and what is not socially acceptable with the threat of punishment, you've moved away from liberalism. You can preach tolerance but you can't enforce it, enforcing anything is tyranny and you've lost the right to be a liberal.
