I think it was the latter - and the Washington Post should be ashamed of it's collective-self. Poor editorial decisions and virtue-signalling nonsense. Perhaps Depp is now leading the counter #MeToo movement, as there are plenty of men now speaking up about being on the wrong end of an Amber Heard.
