I think it's a fair assessment - I'm not brilliantly happy with a theocracy having nuclear weapons, but I'm not happy with anyone having them tbh. I'm far more concerned about a rogue North Korean Narcissistic dementia ridden bad day in forty years time - than anything Iran has to offer at present.

I don't think we should applaud Nuclear armament of any kind, though when the CIA's actions across the 20th Century are taken into the collective history, I think it was a smart political move for any non US country to secure these things.

I can appreciate the geo-political savvy without endorsing the behaviour - and that's the Penguin position. :o)
