I think it's probably time Medium closed GEN. Not because I disagree with the main thrust of what you're saying, it's because articles like this offer very little useful substance. Everyone who agrees with you, already agrees with you. You get a little financial biscuit for writing something that lacks any depth and complexity. You're a paid columnist for an online publication that is buoyed up by Medium and you used to have interesting things to say.
You may as well just write 'I hate Trump' over and over again and take a paycheck. That's fine. But how about an analysis of how or why Trump is different from Hitler? How the USA still hasn't lost its electoral process (though I think it might be in danger of doing so) how about some historical context. How about some acknowledgment of Jewish history? How about the armed forces being independent from the president? How about the lack of military experience? How about saying anything of any depth?
Medium needs to concentrate on providing a platform for writers with interesting ideas ans decent social commentary on modern issues. It needs to disseminate equitable voices with high levels of analytical skill who have something useful to offer. It curerntly has a team of angry chimps with the intellectual heft of a damp tissue whacking a keyboard on a daily basis and getting paid handsomely.
