I think my article is more a critique of a society that expects policing to be done by a freelance bunch of untrainied but heavily armed youngsters.

My comment on law enforcement and racial disparity can be summed up by suggesting any black youth who'd shot and killed two people, injured a third and then ran towards the police as an 'active shooter' would likely not have survived for more than a few seconds.
