I think so. But I think its part of a wider pattern emerging across the democratic world. It's bigger than the US, we're seeing it in Europe, we're seeing Democracies fall across Africa and we're seeing some democratic politicians boiling the frog into autocracy. I'm not sure what's causing it - but whilst I decide I'm going to lay the blame on social media.
