I think that's a pretty good summation of the situation - I'm not a SportsPenguin (at least not any more) but I do remember there being quite a lot of shouting involved.... particularly in team sports. I don't enjoy people shouting at me (though it does happen a fair bit at work), and I consider shouting to be a context dependent activity (like touching) in which the rules are particular to the subculture and people involved.

Personally, I'd have let Kelce shout and then benched him for being a twat. I know in football (soccer) players think it's acceptable to shout at a referee but this has not carried across to professional rugby. It seems a little acceptable to shout at an umpire in tennis, less so in snooker or boxing. These subcultures need to decide what is and isn't acceptable behaviour and then put in collective boundaries and standards. You and I could probably debate those standards and find a compromise position.

And once you have those standards - you apply them to people regardless of their genitalia. Equality between the sexes. Feminism. :o)
