I think the death of innocent people is terrible, particularly children - I do not care which flavour of people perpetrated it and which flavour of had it happen to them. furthermore I find the idea of keeping score morally repugnant; any and all deaths of innocent people is a terrifying indictment of a violent mentality.

When you keep score (as you are), then what you're essentially saying is SOME innocent lives are expendable. Those lives belong to the 'other side' because the other side aren't people.

What you're essentially saying is their children don't matter, only the children on 'my side' matter.

That is not a mindset any liberal human being who believes in justice and humanity should be allied with. The dehumanisation of any individual group of people should be called out for the moral bankruptcy it is.

That's what the article is about - you don't have to read it, but that doesn't make me any less right.
