I think there's a lot to unpack and I can't quite get my head around it at the moment. I am a big Dan Carlin fan - and I think much of what I'm saying has come from his influence.... free from the constraints of Government and nationality, we are essentially ideological mercenaries for hire.
I think in the long term the nation state gives way to more homogenous digital-city states. People may be geographically based in one country, but swearing allegiance to a digital empire of likeminded radicals. That's the sort of thing that keeps me up at night.
