I think they're going to have difficulty with controlled studies - I can imagine the adherence rates are atrocious and self-reporting negates the control aspect. I'm not sure they can start firing Covid at people ethically even with the best intentions - it's a tough one. If you come across any controlled studies then do let me know because I'm interested to read them.

Who knows, maybe placebo kills Covid. ;o)
