I think this is at the core of what the discussion is, every individual person needs to make up their own mind and your story is excellent (and excellently told). I don't see what Keira Bell says as hateful propaganda either - she made the same choice as you, but it was the wrong choice and she doesn't want other people to have to go through the same thing. We have to find some way of ensuring every individual makes the choice that is right for them. To do that, I think we have to pay attention to what both sides are saying.

And that's certainly been the case with Keira Bell, the initial court case and subsequent appeal should be an indicator these are complicated legal and ethical questions that cannot be swept away easily. . I don't think for a second that the Trans Community is a predatory cult, but I can tell you from a decade or so at the front end of child psychology (social work) teenagers are pretty damn complicated - and there must be checks and balances in place. Lots of moderate liberals, like myself, are genuinely divided on this issue.
