I was also teaching at this time, it hijacked my entire class of teenagers within a day. It was a frightening glimpse into the future of social media… the kids couldn’t answer any basic questions that weren’t featured in the video, they had a cause and that was enough.

Those kids are all in their twenties now, many of them never broke out of that habit of bandwagon jumping. Thanks for a trip down memory Lane!
