I was more of a Pulp fan than an Oasis fan with an equally soft spot for Paul Heaton, but I wholeheartedly approve of working class artists shoving two fingers up at the patronising upper-middle class bullshit. The Beatles opened the door, Oasis kicked the bastard thing out of the frame. I've got less time for Blur, wasn't a huge fan of the music and it felt like the posh boy clone machine we have in all other parts of the creative arts. :o)
