I was pondering this the other day - I've been watching a documentary about the evolution of life on our planet. I started to wonder if human beings were the same species - and I don't mean that in a racist way. I mean, there's a knowledge gap in my definition of species. That's a knowledge gap you can probably fill (thanks in advance).

But then, because I'm a playwright, I began thinking about how humans evolve and I'm not convinced that we're evolving in the same direction. I think, without going full HG Wells on it, we may be evolving into different types of humans, something likely to be exacerbated or frustrated by interaction with technology. I would love to know what you think on this given your background etc.

Then I thought I was thinking too much and went off for a lie down. :o/
