I will happily have a respectful conversation - but the logic behind this entire article is flawed. The colour of your skin does not determine whether something is racist or not. It may add to your insight but it's fairly clear if two Black people disagree on something that they cannot both be right.
This is also true of any argument when the first part of the proposed argument bears no relation to what is being argued. I'm much more inclined to agree with Black writers like Steve QJ, people who don't provide simplistic reductionist arguments.
And yes, 87% of US citizens might not have regular Black or Brown friends - so ask yourself whether this is being helped or hindered by the current standard of argument being presented here. You're a smart lady and you bring cogent and coherent arguments to the table, do you really think Black folks think like a monolith? Do you really think this writer is helping reduce the total amount of melanin prejudice in the world?
