I would argue that depends who you are and in what circles you move. Many young people caught in echo chambers full of salad words are being fed a diet of philosophy that induces intense anxiety about the world and their place in it. There can be macro political harm and there can be individual harm - and these things can coexist. I am not worried about the far left politically, but I am worried that the youth are being bounced between two political extremes neither of which encourages much in the way of critical thinking.
