I would say that any cult that has 69,000,000 members isn't a cult.

I would say practice your peace discussion skills before that point. Because half your country made a decision that you can't comprehend and you have no idea why. And rather than work out why, your default position is to go onto the attack and call them all lunatics.

That may be true in some of the fringe elements - lets say up to a million people who have been hijacked by the spirt of chaos and white supremecy... But you've still got 68 million left to account for. Disagreement doesn't require forgiveness, they don't need to be forgiven for casting a vote you disagree with. They need to be understood and talked back into the centre ground. That understanding can only really happen if you're genuinely invested in having a conversation

What is becoming apparent is that a lot of people aren't really interested in having a converstion - they're interested in being punitive. Some, perhaps you (I don't know) just enjoy berating people they disagree with and shouting. Is what you're after a war? In which case, what's the real difference between you and the fringes of the Republican party?
