I would suggest people joining to earn money online have missed the point of Medium. I’m more than happy with their buyers remorse in this instance. The platform needs fewer people here playing a monetised version of fuckabout Susan and producing endless articles about their earnings and ‘how to make it on Medium’ after twenty minutes of writing time.

Medium should be focussed on securing quality writers and paying readers. Then converting some of those high quality readers into excellent commenters and then into writers eventually.
