I would suggest the general thrust for safe spaces is being pushed for by a selection of people in a limited number of places. You’ll see there’s a backlash against it stemming from about 2017 when it first hits the mainstream.
Nevertheless, it’s still being pushed for on university campuses and within the theatre world where I occasionally work. I think it’s also still touted around businesses…. Enough for that LinkedIn I sent you to be written in 2022. Perhaps it is less mainstream but then so are outright segregationists….
My point isn’t that you’re wrong when slamming racists, it’s the failure to see all facets of race based judgement as problematic. There’s dogma at play in the social justice world that encourages nonsense thinking and a blind spot towards it, often under the guise of ‘I don’t have to listen to you, cos you’re wrong’
I get blocked a great deal by those who believe in inclusion. They rarely see the irony.
