Identity politics favours the middle class.... that's why it's there. It allows diversification of an already economic privileged class so they can all claim some form of victimhood. Then slowly, one by one, they edge each other out. White women may win this, but generally affluent ones, and generally by edging out economically disadvantaged white men. This is followed by middle-class ethnic minority groups who edge out their own economically disadvantaged groups and label it progress. In a capitalist system the predominantly useful measurement of success is economic starting point and economic class.
