I'm a fan of the Black Panther movement - I think much of the work they did has been unnecessarily vilified and generally consider what they did to be a pioneering form of social work - particularly feeding hungery children which should be the aim of every adult in a country ahead of anything else. I hope that BlackLivesMatter creates the awareness of systemic oppression. We had that over here in the UK with the Stephen Lawrence case and the subsequent uncovering of systemic racism in the Metropolitan police. You may not be familiar with the case, but it's worth a research. It radically changed the face of the UK

I'll take an eye roll. It sounds like the experience of black people in America is not the same as black people in the UK and that's our disconnect. Perhaps before the early 1990s but our society has become far more multicultural and tolerant. Not perfect by any means, but certainly better than it has been - even in my lifetime. There's hope.

All of us over this side of the pond are watching your renegade idiots with mounting disbelief. I'm not sure how they think viruses work, but they can't be cured by flags and consistent reference to the constitution. Good luck with them, but I agree with your DGAF and hands off approach to them all.

If you ever find yourself in London (and I'm revealing far too much of the man behind the penguin) then DM me, we'll grab a coffee and we can wax lyrical about our favourite Denzel films (Spoiler: mine is John Q) and over said coffee, we can put the world to rights as individuals with different world experiences.

It's been fun. Good luck with the deadline. :o)
