I'm currently identifying as a penguin. Read into that what you will. Having read this article, I can say that some of it makes sense, but most of it doesn't. It's very well written, but what has been written is for the most part anger and outrage.

Any thought process that begins by tarring an entire group of people with the same brush invariably ends in the same way. Once you begin a process of deindividuation, you simultaneously begin a process of dehumanisation. All you need is to add political power and you have the perfect recipe. The right open concentrate camps, the left open 're-education centres'. History is full of lessons about what happens when you group people together and dehumanise them. I agree that these are lessons that white people should have learned by now, but they're also lessons that should have been learned by the increasingly intolerant adherents of identity politics.

You can't fight racism or any other kind of ism on anything other than a human individual level. Failure to recognise this will mean you'll soon be doomed to become the very problem you're trying to solve.
