I’m doing my best to escape - I do love my regular readers, but they are not as varied as they used to be. I can only presume the platform has changed who I am offered to - or where my work pops up. It could be my writing appeals primarily to men - and aside from the occasional passing woman who gets lured in, I don’t know why. I’d like to know if Medium builds your audience based on your existing audience through recommends or whether it does so through the topics you write in. I should have a more diverse audience based on the latter - and that did used to be the case.

There is a consolation, although this chamber be primarily of the penis variety, they aren’t men who would agree with each other, and many of them disagree with me regularly. :o)
