I'm from the left and I disagree - and the reason i disagree is that those identarian arguments aren't really left at all. They're a distracting form of middle-class right-wing martyrdom. A left-winger would be talking about how each of those children with enough ability should be put through the education system by closing tax loopholes for corporations and making the tax system fairer. The synthetic-left aren't really on the left at all - because there's nothing left-wing or liberal about any of the identarian movements.
Which is why I rarely get invited back to talk at Woke seminars :o(
