I'm fully in favour of the ICC ruling - a warrant for an arrest is simply that, a warrant. If we're going to throw the ICC under the bus because it's expedient for Western Nations then we're doing the League of Nations all over again. The US and Israel can say what they like about the ICC, they never signed the Rome Statute (well Israel did, they didn't ratify it). The rest of us, regardless of how politically expedient it may be to ignore the warrant should seek to confirm the ICC's ruling. International law is much needed. Warrants for arrest are not the same as prosecutions - this appears to have been overlooked by the 'guilty by accusation' brigade.
